He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hubert and Wanda Potter (Grimes). He is survived by: his wife Kayla Potter of Eaton; his children, Conner, Aydin and Bentlee; his parents, Shawn Potter and Tina Potter of Richmond; his brother Jordan Barker (Katie) of Richmond; his grandparents, Ronnie and Betty Sandlin of Fountain City, IN; his aunt Brenda; his uncle James Potter of Kentucky; his nephew James "Doug" Ellison of Richmond; and his parents-in-law, Darren and Lisa Duncan of New Paris, OH.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gard Funeral Home - Eaton (226 W Main St, Eaton, OH 45320). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist Cody's family with final expenses.
