He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Ermlich and Mary Ermlich; the mother of his children Kim Ermlich; and his brothers, Richard Ermlich, Gerald "Jerry" Ermlich, James "Jim" Ermlich (Kathy), Dennis Ermlich and Jeff Ermlich.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Dennull (Bryan) and Madeline Faul (Matthew); his grandchildren, Brooklynn Davis, Caliber Davis, Edyn Davis, Emma Dennull and Braxton Dennull; his nieces and nephews, Tanya Shell, Darcie Ohlman, Shannon Rhodes (Troy), Billie Ermlich, Jodi Ermlich, Jami Fitzgerald (Mike), Angie Getter, Julie Todd (Allen), Erica Lucas and Chris Ermlich (Rhonda) of Jackie White, A. J; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Ermlich and Patti Ermlich. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
