With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Everett Jordan of Eaton, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2024 at the age of 72. As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jordan and Dorothy Jordan (DeVilbiss); his wife Sharon Jordan; his sister Mary Ellen Kelly; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Kelly, Raymond Moore and Thomas Donaldson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lillian Moore and Earla Donaldson; and his close friend Tammy Edwards. He is also survived by three nephews and three nieces; numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
