He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis McKee, Jr. and Mary Jo Schmidt (Pitsinger); his brother Terry McKee; and his nephew Jaysen Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Mary McKee of Eaton; his sons, Phillip McKee of Eaton, Dennis McKee of Missouri, Ethan McKee of Eaton, Jason McKee of Eaton and Jonathan McKee of Eaton; his siblings, Nancy McKee Strikland Brown (Cline) of Summerville and Mile Schmidt of Minnesota; his aunt Linda Kipp of Dayton; his nephew Zachary Strickland (Lauren) of North Carolina; his niece Gretchen Strickland Diesburg of South Carolina; and his great-aunt Kaitlyn Martin Diesburg of South Carolina. He is also survived by 10 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
