He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A.; his daughters, Jasmine Murphy (Steven Thrasher) of Norton and Sara Murphy of Nashville, TN; his grandson Evan; his father Richard H. Murphy; and his siblings, Terry Lantz, Lynda McDowell (Farley) and Randy Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
