She is survived by: her husband Thomas Pekar; her children, Jeff White (Sarah) and Lynn Pluta; her grandchildren, Kadin, Harrison, Kiya, Avery and Annika; and her sisters, Connie Heath (Ken), Linda Jones and Jeanette Breault. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to her favorite charities, American Lung Association, Feeding America, and St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
