Thomas J. Pohlabel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J. Pohlabel of Eaton, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Pohlabel and Bonnie L. Pohlabel (Dawson); his wife Suzanne Pohlabel; and his siblings, John "Jack" Pohlabel and Rosileen Pohlabel.
He is survived by: his children, John Pohlabel of Eaton, Virginia Spanier (Mark) of Eaton, Joe Pohlabel of Oxford, Amy Stanoikovich (Mike) of Brookville and Matt Pohlabel (Mindy) of Springboro; and his caregivers, Shelby, Kim and Madi. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Visitation Catholic Church (407 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to DayCity Hospice.
