He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lavon and Pearl Ellen Kimpel (Rosenberry); his daughter Debra Kimpel; and his brother Richard Kimpel. He is survived by: his children, Tami Hartley (Scott) of Angola, IN and Mark Kimpel (Melinda) of Angola; his grandchildren, Kristina Kimpel, Jayde Kimpel, Mark Kimpel, Jr. (Ashley), Michael Kimpel, Nicholas Hartley and Zachary Hartley; his great grandchildren, Ashlyne, Alexis, Marcus and Breyer; and his sister Shirley Krill (Linda Popp) of Edgerton.
