He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton A. Mavis and Gertie L. Mavis (Fisher); his wife Dorothy; his daughter Kathy Mavis; his son-in-law Steve Hancock; his grandson Kurt Whitman; and his siblings, Jack Mavis and Joann Sites.
He is survived by: his children, Karla Stark (Tom) of Edgerton, Teresa Hancock of Stryker and Doug Mavis (Becky) of Edgerton. He is also survived by 9 grand children; 23 great grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations to the Edgerton Volunteer Fire Department.
