She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Roach and Dora Roach Sr.; her husbands, William Hummell Sr., George Hummel and Theodore Dowalter; her son Steven Hummell Sr.; and her siblings, Evelyn Smith, Janette Rowley and Harry Roach Jr..
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Hummell Jr. (Teresa) of Marengo, Jimmy Hummell of Edison, Johnny Hummell (Cindy) of Cardington, Gary Hummell of Cardington, Chris Hummell (Shelia) of Delaware and Charlie Hummel of Marion. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
