DeWayne A. Wortkoetter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of DeWayne A. Wortkoetter (Edon, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to DeWayne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration DeWayne has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar A. Wortkoetter and Ila M. Wortkoetter (Blomeke); his wife Linda L. Headley; his son John D. Wortkoetter; and his close friend Shirley Ann Aldrich.
He is survived by: his sons, Andrew J. Wortkoetter (Sarah) of Greenfield, Alan J. Wortkoetter (Michelle) of Colorado Springs, CO and Marvin A. Wortkoetter (Melody Sheely) of Edon; and his sister Regina Bowling of Edon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, In lieu of flowers, memorials in the name of DeWayne Wortkoetter are requested to Dystrophic Epidermoylisis Bullosa Research Association (DEBRA).
