He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Leon Smith, Gus Lautermilch and Sandy Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Thompson; his son Adam Craven (Maggie) of Edon; his stepson Shaun Thompson of Kempner, TX; and his sister Shirley Smith of Louden, TN.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Northwest Township Community Building (15180 SR-49, Edon, OH 43518).
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorial contributions may be made to the Northwest Township Volunteer Fire Department, 16473 State Route 49, Edon, OH 43518.
