It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Gearhart of Edon, Ohio, born in Angola, Indiana, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Gearhart and Evelyn Gearhart (Van Zile) of Edon, Ohio.. She is survived by: her children, Denise Stollings (Jerry) of Winchester, Virginia and Christopher Orphey of Clermont, Florida; her grandchildren, Jessica Mansel-Pleydell (Dominic), Jackson, Gabriel Stollings and Grace Mueller; and her brothers, Lon Gearhart (Carol Lepper) of Fort Wayne and Leon Gearhart (Debbie) of Bryan. She is also survived by nephew and three nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Ohio Nurses Foundation for a scholarship fund in her name (ohionursesfoundation.org).
