In loving memory of Richard H. Merrifield of Edon, Ohio, who departed this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair O. Merrifield and Martha Esther Merrifield (Newcomer); his wife Donna B. Mahan; and his siblings, Ethel M. Green, Ruth Jean Suffel, Donna Lou Lyons, Vernon Merrifield and Frank Merrifield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
