We announce the death of Robert L. Bowling of Edon, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Sr. Bowling and Georgia Bowling (Smith); his siblings, Milton Bowling Jr. and Ruth Waddle; his son Steve Bowling; and his great grandchild Portland Bowling.
He is survived by: his wife Regina "Jeanie" Bowling of Edon, Ohio; his children, Neil Bowling (Tammy) of Edon, Gary Bowling (Jackie) of Defiance, Leon Bowling (Donna) of Lewiston, Jeff Bowling (Dawn) of Edon and Lori Rennie (Jack) of Westerville, Ohio; his daughter-in-law Jan Bowling of Canton, Ohio; and his brother-in-law Jim Waddle of Romoland, California. He is also survived by grandchildren and many special great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Williams County.
