She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Cordle and Verna Cordle (Bishop); her husband Stanley "Joe" Smith; and her siblings, Daniel Cordle and Tamara Cordle.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Smith of Edon, Lisa Davis of Edon, Aimee Bell of Edon, Matthew Smith of Blakeslee and Pamela Erman of Montpelier. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Krill Funeral Service - Edon Get (204 W Indiana St, Edon, OH 43518). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
