She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Rhodes and Irene Rhodes (Jahn); her husband Howard B. Young; her son Howard L. Young; and her siblings, Jean Pitts and Harry Rhodes.

She is survived by: her son Brian Young (Susan) of North Bloomfield; and her grandchildren, Travis, Brian, Neil, Mark and Annabel Young.

In May of 2022, Sally was honored by the Ellsworth Trustees for her many contributions to the community.
