He was predeceased by: his father Emmitt Spears; his wife Crystal Kaye Spears (Hatter); his sister Joann Spears; and his mother Faye Spears of Cincinnati, Ohio.. He is survived by: his son Ron Spears Jr. (Carolyn) of Cincinnati Ohio; his grandchildren, John Beatty, Terry Spears (Debbie), Matthew Spears (Samantha), Tyler, Samantha Hoelmer, Nicholas Hoelmer, Tabitha Lawson, Sarah Theis, Maggie Peddicore and Andrew Thompson; his great grandchild Chase Spears; his grandchildren, Carson Spears, Emmitt Hoelmer, Daniel Raider, Devon Raider and Donovan Raider; and his siblings, Don Spears (Joan), Jerry Spears (Micki) and Dianna Laurence (Steve).
