He was predeceased by: his wife Joann A.; his parents, Alex Horvath and Helen Horvath; and his sister Dorothy Garcia. He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Horvath of North Ridgeville, Brenda Silver (Steven) of Chattanooga, TN and Patricia Wassink (Shane) of Clymer, NY; his grandchildren, Ryan Silver (Brittany), Mark Silver, Alyssa Gates (Michael), Alexis, Hunter and Roman Wassink; and his great grandchild Calvin Silver.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community of Faith United Church of Christ (9715 E River Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at the Ridge Hill Memorial Park (44805 N Ridge Rd, Amherst, OH 44001).
