With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha (Stokes) Henderson of Elyria, Ohio, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Kelly Stokes and Ethel Mae Stokes; her stepmother Tennie Mae Stokes; her husband Wallace Henderson; and her siblings, Isiah, Alec Stokes, Arthur Thomas, Rosie Mae Stokes, Bernice Liner, Pearline Henderson, Savannah Young and Elizabeth Owten.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Terri), Andrew, Sharon and Lynne; her grandson Triston (Latoya); her great grandchildren, Samantha and John; and her sister-in-law DeeEtta Henderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
