With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Butch Mills of Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Butch's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Butch has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his fathers, Herbert Turner (Jane Mills) and Harry Turner; his siblings, Betty Mills and Herbert D. Mills; his grandson Christopher X. Williams; and his great grandchild De'Shon C. Nelson III.
He is survived by: his daughter Chrystal N. Williams-Smith (Ronald L. Smith Jr.); his granddaughters, Christina S. Williams (De'Shon C. Nelson II), Kayla S. Williams (Cory A. Thompson), Kaylynn S. Williams and Kayjana M. Hollis; his godchild Bella-Rose C. House; and his sisters, Patricia "Pat" Hollowniczky (Tim) of Sullivan and Debbie Crow of Toledo. He is also survived by two nieces, one great nephew and two great nieces.
