She was predeceased by: her husband Donald G.; and her parents, Onie Shatto and Betty Shatto. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Stella Papuga; her stepchildren, Jacqueline Papuga of Elyria, Robert Papuga (Amy) of Wellington and Michael Papuga (Jennifer) of New Bern; and her grandchildren, Jessica Papuga, Joshua Papuga, Kayla Mason (Nate), Madeline Heckman (Adam), Kyle Papuga and Allison Papuga. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dicken, Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center (323 Middle Ave, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery (285 Columbus St, Elyria, OH 44035).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Delta Kappa Gamma International Educators Foundation.
