He is survived by: his children, Daniel Bakata Jr. (Peggy), Thomas Bakata and Jennifer Grimes (Danny); and his siblings, Mary Rivers (Jim) and Joseph Bakata (Anna). He is also survived by five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
