She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Houck; her parents, Rose Marie and James Carpenter; and her brothers, Jerry and Rory Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Nikki May Houck of Elyria, Jaime Leigh Houck of Elyria, Brandon Everett Houck (Stephanie) of Elyria, Kristen Marie Houck (April) of Lorain and Sandra Jean Houck-Waldron (Kenneth) of Elyria; her grandchildren, Emilie Butler (Joshua), Zachary Taylor, MacKenzie Taylor, Miranda Tomblin, Brenna Taylor, Devon Taylor, Everett and River Houck; her great grandchildren, Jinora, Cirilla and Isaiah Butler; and her siblings, James Carpenter (Linda) and Sharon Westover (James). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
