He is survived by: his father Charles Ransom Jr.; his children, Steven Maurice Ransom (Danicka) of Clermont, Florida, Denishia Ransom of Kissimmee, Florida and Monique Isom (Leonard Demore) of Elyria, Ohio; his stepchildren, Anthony Cummings (Nisha) and Chitikia Williams (Shannon); his sisters, Denise Ransom-Morris of Raleigh and Rhonda Ransom of Charlotte; his siblings-in-law, Pam Oliver, Brenda Gault, Jean Trice and William Cummings; his grandchildren, Ty'Ajia Ransom-Diop (Mohamed), Steven Phillips, Steven Witherspoon Jr., Elisha Witherspoon and Braxton Steven Maurice Ransom; and his great grandchildren, Amina Phillips, Amari Phillips, A'Kinzley Phillips and Kiyah Diop.
