He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hronek and Elaine Hronek; his son Kenneth Hronek; his siblings, Larry Hronek (Dorothy), Georgene Swislocki, Robert Hronek (Ann), James Hronek, Dennis Hronek (Gwen), Pat Roberts and Doris Kitko (Lewis); and his in-laws, Stanley, June Zidek, Ron Zidek (Kay Reisz) and Elaine Zidek (Ron Zidek).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Annette Stockton (Earl) and Debby Perkins (Brad); his grandchildren, Jamie Eden (TJ), Jacob Kiehl (Abbey), Brooke Perkins (Andrew Shaniuk), Colton Stockton (Katie) and Olivie Stockton; his great grandchildren, Bean Eden and Cooper Stockton; and his sister Donna Garkowski (Ron).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Book Hotel Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home (327 Cleveland St, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (590 Poplar St, Elyria, OH 44035). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Book Hotel St. Mary's Cemetery (7284 Lake Ave, Elyria, OH 44035).
