It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Edwards of Elyria, Ohio, born in Birdeye, Arkansas, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jason Edwards; and her siblings, Neil, Corzena, McKinley, David, Leroy, William and Anthony Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Searcy, Jr. (Jennifer) of Elyria and Toni Brown of Elyria; and her grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Thomas Jay Searcy, Jamal, Michael, Leslie, Lisa and Phillip Brown. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and a sister.
