He was predeceased by: his wife RoseMarie; and his parents, George Sr. and Anna (Lences). He is survived by: his children, Greg, Brad and Robyn (Donald); and his grandson Alex.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44270).
