He is survived by: his wife Margaret Strait (Lender); his children, Brett Strait of Elyria and Jessica Strait of Elyria; and his sisters, Karen Hughes (Gary) of Elyria, Cindy Seckt (Dan) of Sandusky and Becky Anderson (Ruben Garcia) of Huron.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Busch Funeral Home (114 2nd St, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Brookdale Cemetery (41600 Oberlin Elyria Rd, Elyria, OH 44035).
