He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gott and Irene Gott (McBurney); his son Daryl; and his siblings, Naomi Searl, Myron, Paul, Richard and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Midnight; his children, Duane Gott (Linda) of Wellington, Denny Gott (Darlene) of Grafton, Diahann Gott of Elyria and Denise Arnoczky (John) of Elyria; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Gott, Linda Payne and Helen Gott. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
