He is survived by: his son Mark F. Gainer (Elizabeth A. Eastwood); his grandson Andrew Eastwood Gainer of Strongsville, Ohio; his son Todd J. Gainer of Ashburn, Virginia; and his sibling's children, Ferol Gainer Reimer and Randy Gainer. He is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
