He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Henson, Michelle Horton, Carla Powell of Elyria, Lillie Wilson of Montgomery, Veronica Cofield of Elyria, Marlon Powell of Columbus and Zack Peterson of Elyria; his siblings, Lillie Pearl Cheatham of Greenville, Louise McQueen of Fayetteville, Wiley Powell (Fannie) of Youngstown and Willie Shepherd of Greenville; his grandchildren, Timothy Powell (Tracy), Jourdan Powell, Jasmine Henson, Mica Powell, Myles Henson and Micayla Horton; and his siblings, Dempsey Powell, Jim Powell, Walter Powell, Roy Shepherd, Nelson Powell, Earlie Shepherd, Johnnie Lee Lowery, Corrie Hamilton, Cora Lee Powell, Katherine White, Ruthie Mae White, Roberta Murphy, Lula Mae Smith, Eula Vee Hines and Leola Gettis. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
