He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick MacKay and Paula MacKay. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his son Collin MacKay; his mother-in-law Dora Miller; his siblings, Eileen MacKay-Nixon (Dan), Maureen Karp (Greg) and Patrick MacKay (Tammy); his nephew Sean MacKay; and his niece Sarah Panigutti (Cory).
