He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose M. Rivera and Elizabeth Rivera; and his brother Julio Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Tasha Hoon; his children, Sebastian, Christian, Cristina, Alexis, Emma and Skylar; and his granddaughter Amina. He is also survived by two sisters, three brothers; and many nieces, nephews, and "adopted" children.
