Josil A. Howington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josil A. Howington of Elyria, Ohio, born in Peytona, West Virginia, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her daughter Carolyn Huston; her grandson Brian Huston; her parents, Cyril Gunnoe and Pauline Gunnoe; and her siblings, Cyril, Jr., David Gunnoe and Mary Gunnoe.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Peterson (Allen) of Bellview, Joyce Sibert (Keith) of Elyria and Charles Howington (Rose) of Lake St; her sisters, Josephine Weaver (Frank), Linda Martin, Betty Pennington and Pam Hucka; and her son-in-law Robert Huston. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
