With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce VanAmburgh (Elyria, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce VanAmburgh to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Kinzel and Emma Kinzel; her brother Kenneth; and her husband Ronald. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Elisa), Barbara Farrar (Joseph) and Daniel (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Michael, Sadie Farrar, Emma, Anna, Mason and Austin Van Amburgh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (708 Erie St, Grafton, OH 44044).
