He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Murphy and Walter Murphy; and his siblings, Don, Alan, Richard and Helen Grundy.
He is survived by: his wife Francene A.; his children, Mark Murphy (Chris) of Palm Bay, FL, Michele Pitts (Tim) of Stow and Matt Murphy (Anne) of Madison, AL; his grandchildren, Brendan, Dillon (Samantha), Justin, Ryan and Morgan (Sydney); and his brother Robert Murphy.
