She was predeceased by : her parents, John E. Taylor and Cordie Taylor; her siblings, James Taylor (Big Tate), Melvin Taylor (Sharon) and Theresa Allen (Wilbur K.); and her sister-in-law Donna Taylor.

She is survived by : her husband Argene Mahone; her children, Chris Mahone (Jennifer) and Kellie Wilson of Upper Marlboro, MD; her granddaughters, Jasmyne, Jordan, Michal and Christel; her siblings, Gloria Bullocks (Forrest) and Thurman Taylor; and her goddaughter Angela Ligon of North Ridgeville.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (427 Chapman Ln, Elyria, OH 44035). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
