He was predeceased by: his brother Angelo Vasi Jr.; his parents, Catherine Ann Vasi (Coyne) and Angelo J. Vasi; and his niece Alexandra Clifford (Allie). He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Vasi, Patti Devereaux, Candy Brenneman (Randy) and Angie Clifford; his children, Allison Welsandt (John), Anthony Vasi and Ashleigh Vasi; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brandon, Alexa, Annabelle, Angelina, Alivia and Louis; and his great grandchildren, Kayden and Sophia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Elyria Catholic High School or St. Agnes Church.
