It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Alice Slack of Elyria, Ohio, born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Margie Lou Slack; her parents, Austin Grueser and Verna Grueser; and her siblings, Selena Dumke (Bob), Virginia Roti (Meryl), George Grueser (Jane) and Joanne Scott (John).

She is survived by: her daughter Marsha James (Jack) of Elyria; and her sister Starling Demetrion (Nick) of California. She is also survived by five children, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.

Per CDC guidelines social distancing will be observed.

In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to the Ohio.
