She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Minnie Elizabeth Rhodes; her husband Lawrence D. Elkins; her son Jeffery L. Elkins; her grandson Brent L. Titus; and her siblings, Estelle Matulis, Virginia O'Boyle, Lorene Lekan Duncan, Josephine Rhodes, Genevieve McMillion, Ernest "Buzzy" Rhodes, Edna Criss, Georgia Fisher and Norma Menei.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Childers (Bob), Larry Elkins (Mary), Karen Andras and Eric Elkins (Stacy); and her grandchildren, James Norris (Sarah), Jeffery Elkins (Kirsten), Kelly Sawyer (Bill), Leah Crecraft (Paul), Bethany Walden (Marquell), Joseph Elkins (Sarah), Jamie Jones (Jon), Neil Elkins (Amanda), Kyle Elkins, Norman Shelton (Megan), Kevin Shelton (Katrina), Amanda Shelton, Joleigh Elkins and Jaxon Elkins. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
