We announce the death of Michael Drummer of Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 72. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parent Stonewall; his siblings, Lorenzo Drummer, Willie Sain, Pinkie Robbins and Minnie Miller; and his grandparents, Ike, Pinkie Drummer and Julia Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Burt, Camaren Burt of Columbus, Ohio, Adrienne Drummer of Lorain, Ohio, Michael J. Drummer and Amy Pruchinski of Lorain, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Adaveon Drummer, Tariq Drummer, Sirrenidy Drummer, Sirriah Drummer, Camaren Burt II and Camille Burt; his brother Ike Drummer (Mary) of Powder Springs; his granddaughter Lanice Houston; Lyjuan Houston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home & Celebration Center (6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brown-Robinson Funeral Home and Celebration Center (6075 Middle Ridge Rd, Lorain, OH 44053).
