The passing of Nathan A. Moon of Elyria, Ohio, born in Crawfordsville, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 76. He is survived by: his wife Constance Moon; his children, Anthony Owens-Moon of St. Louis, Atha Owens-Moon (Chanel) of Elyria, Ohio, Dean of Elyria, Ohio, Charles Lewis of Elyria, Ohio, Stephine Moon of Redford and Jessica Moon of Elyria, Ohio.; and his siblings, Roscoe Mhoon (Dorothy) of Sikeston, Missouri, Ivery Mhoon Jr. (Lillie) of Davenport, Iowa, Asberry Mhoon (Faye) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Edward Mhoon (Shirley) of Sikeston, Missouri, Eddie Mhoon of Sikeston, Missouri, Willie Gene Mhoon of St. Louis, Missouri, Charles Mhoon of Sikeston, Missouri, Melvin Mhoon (Margret Ann) of Sikeston, Missouri, Linda Mhoon of Sikeston and Annie Mhoon Jefferson (Michael) of Charleston, Missouri.. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
