He is survived by: his mother Ruth Ann Geiger; his sons, Reginald Smith Jr. (Fanchana) and Garrett Smith; his siblings, Annette Bullock (Glen), Ditanuia Baker (Pastor Keith), Yulanda Geiger, Nancy Geiger-Brown, Edwina Church, Bryant Carter (Susie), Eddie Coats (Tamar) and Erinn Coats; and his niece Marisha.
