John Keim wrote a sympathy message

“Very sorry to hear this news and extend condolences to all. I look back fondly on my days playing for him at Lakewood; I still apply a lot of the lessons I learned under him. And he guided us to the biggest win in school history, beating St. Ed’s for the first time. He knew how to motivate; he was a damn good coach who impacted many lives. RIP coach. John Keim”
