It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Karban of Elyria, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Karban and Ester Karban; and his siblings, Bob, John and Carol Duck.
He is survived by: his wife MaryLou; his children, Rich (Betsy), Victor, Pam Timar, Cecile Gidlin (Frank), Russell (Amny), Vinny (Dianne), Paulette Karban, Monica Summers (Steve), Paul (Staci) and Gloria Burkholder (Jeremy Pester); his grandchildren, Richard, Elyssa, Alaina, Madalyn, Joshua, Viviani, Dominic, Angela, Frankie, Jared, Jimmy, Kaitlyn, Jack, Bryce, Wesley, Rolo, Karley, Andrew, Abby, Katherine, Rebecca, Matthew, Annabelle, Ezekiel, Samuel, Carter and Drew; and his sister Darlene Carriker. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
