He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brown and Elizabeth Green Pew; his brother John Marlin Pew; his nephew Grant Marlin Pew; and his brother-in-law Jack Westin.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Westin Pew (Sue); his children, Elizabeth (Richard Karban), Douglas Pew (Deirdre) and Gordon Pew (Kerry); his grandchildren, Richard, Elyssa, Nora, Ainsley, Charlotte, Heather (Sean), Tyler (Monica) and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Azaela and Harrison; his nieces, Stacy Pew Morris, Joyce Baldwin and Jeanne Papini; and his nephew Jeffrey Westin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mount Auburn Hospital for funds to care for the Patricia and Herbert Pratt Family Healing Garden in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
