He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle; his parents, Ronald and Mildred; his daughter Sharon; and his stepchildren, Lisa (Don), Kevin and Glenn.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill Michalak; his grandchildren, Derek (Melissa), Derel, Abagail, Adam, Nathan, Andy (Elaina), Erin, Scott (Marivell) and Christopher; his niece Lynn; and his nephew Chuck. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home (327 Cleveland St, Elyria, OH 44035). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
