In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Stephen had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Stephen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Leidenheimer. He is survived by: his wife Holly A.; his sons, Matthew Stephen of Elyria and Jonathan Alan Leidenheimer of Elyria; his mother Diane Leidenheimer; and his brother Eric Leidenheimer (Lisa) of North Ridgeville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (320 Middle Ave, Elyria, OH 44035).
