He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allgood and Edna Mae Allgood; his siblings, Elder William "Bill" Algood, Fred Allgood, Lonnie Allgood, Dorothy "Dot" Reed, Carolyn Hill and Maxine Trimble; and his son Brent L. Allgood.

He is survived by: his former wife Marva Allgood; his children, Wayne D. Allgood Jr. of Elyria, Eric M. Allgood Sr. (Jennie) of Elyria and Trinya Dale (Alan) of Elyria; and his siblings, Larry E. Allgood (Arlene) of Ashtabula, Jackie A. Allgood (Doreen) of Elyria, Margaret "Shane" McFarland of Lorain, Marilyn "Linda" Allgood of Lorain and Margie E. Allgood-Gray of Winchester, TN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
